I created this card for the class we had at the Community Centre yesterday. All our cards turned out different, but using the same technique & colours. It also qualifies for the Latenight Stampers challenge.
Base Card -
Pacific Point - 5 1/8" x 7" or 13cm x 17.5cm - score at 4 1/4" or 10.5cm
Layer 1 -
DSP - 7" x 1 3/4" or 13cm x 4 1/2 cm
Layer 2 -
Whisper White - 5" x 2 5/8" or 13cm x 6.5cm
Layer 3 -
Real Red - 3 1/2" x 2 3/8" or 9cm x 6.5cm
Layer 4 -
Whisper White - 3 3/8" x 2 1/4" or 8.5cm x 6cm
I adhered the
DSP to the RHS of the base card. I then punched out several stars onto
Whisper White Cardstock using the
small Star Punch &
large Star Punch. Using a sponge &
Pear Pizzazz Ink, I sponged the stars lightly. I randomly adhered these to the
Whisper White Cardstock before taking my
Square Lattice Embossing Floder & running it through the
Bigshot. This is called
"Inlaid Embossing". This piece was then adhered to the top of the Base Card.
Taking my
Chocolate Chip Ink, I stamped the log onto the small piece of
Whisper White Card Stock. I used the same colour to stamp the flies randomly onto the same card. I stamped the frog using
Pear Pizzazz Ink & the greeting using
Real Red Ink.
The Whisper White Cardstock was the adhered to Real Red Cardstock & adhered to the Base Card. I stamped the fly image onto a couple of small stars & adhered these to the card.
