TSSC 161...

I am loving this set from the current SAB and have used it yet again in today's card.

The sketch is from Techostamper and is a Blog Hop.  This means you can click on anyone's card & you will be taken directly to their blog.

For my card I decided to use the "DSP - Love Letter" along with stamp set "Bliss"

Basecard - Riding Hood Red - 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" or 15cm x 15cm
Layer 1 - DSP - Love Letter - 5 5/8" x 5 5/8" or 14.5cm x 14.5cm
Layer 2 - Riding Hood Red - 5" x 2 1/4" or 13cm x 6cm
Layer 3 - DSP - Love Letter - 4 7/8" x 2 1/8" or 12.5cm x 5.5cm
Layer 4 - Riding Hood Red - 3" x 3" or 8cm x 8cm
Layer 5 - DSP - Love Letter - 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" or 7.5cm x 7.5cm
Layer 6 - Very Vanilla - 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" or 7cm x 7cm

I stamped the image onto Very Vanilla Cardstock using Basic Black Ink.  I then stamped the flower images using Riding Hood Red Ink.  I also stamped the word "Bliss" using Riding Hood Red Ink.

After layering the card, I applied Basic Pearls to the middle of the flowers.  I tied a bow using the Crochet Trim and adhered it to the card.

All in all a very easy sketech & a very easy card.

Seaworthy...

I pulled out my Colour Coach today to find a colour combination that would be a little different & for colours that I would never think to use together.  I went with the "Getting Started" Combination, which has gone perfectly with today's card.

I've used the sketch from Clean and Simple which just cries for a clean & simple card!

I've also combined it with my groups weekly challenge for Late Night Stampers.  Challenge 108 - Let's Hear it for the Boys - Masculine Cards

Base Card - Old Olive - 5 7/8" x 4 1/8" or 15cm x 10.5cm - cut, score & fold in half

Layer 1 - Marina Mist - 5 7/8" x 2" or 15cm x 5cm

Layer 2 - Real Red - 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" or 10cm x 6cm

Layer 3 - Whisper White - 2 3/8" x 3 3/8" x 9.5cm x 5.5cm

For my card, I randomly stamped Marina Mist Cardstock using Marina Mist Ink.  I then adhered this down the LHS of Old Olive.  Using Marina Mist Ink, I stamped the image directly onto the Whisper White.  I stamped the greeting in Real Red Ink off to the right of Whisper White Cardstock.  I adhered this to Real Red Cardstock & tore the bottom of the Real Red Cardstock. 

Using Hemp Twine, I tied this around the middle of the Whisper White & adhered the whole lot to the base card.  I threaded a piece of Hemp Twine through a buttom & adhered to the card.

I have finally managed to use a Stamp Set from the current Sale-a-Bration and of course I took the sketch from the fun challenge over at Stamping 411

Layer One - Cardbase - Cardstock cut at 5.5 x 8.5", scored & folded

Layer Two - 4 x 5.25"

Layer Three - 1.5 x 4.5"

Layer Four - 1.25 x 4.25"

Layer Five - 2.5 x 3.5"

Layer Six - 2.5 x 3.25"

For my card, I used Soft Sude Cardstock for the base.  Layered it with Elegant Soiree DSP.  I then layered the same DSP over Baja Breeze.  I stamped my images in Soft Suede Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock.  Prior to stamping the bird images, I stamped off twice & then randomly stamped images over card.  I layered this onto Baja Breeze Cardstock.  I adhered Crochet Trim - Chantilly along the bottom of Very Vanilla Cardstock prior to adhering to card.  I stamped 3 butterfly images in Baja Breeze, adhered Basic Pearls to the middle of the butterflies & then  adhered these randomly to the card.

Bugs...

It has been awhile since my last post but hopefully I am back to posting daily for you.

This card started out as a Buckle Card, but suddenly changed half way through.  I am quiet happy with the end result as it is a little different.  I also wanted to showcase that "Bugs & Kisses" is not only for boys but for the girls cards too.

Base Card - Chocloate Chip - 7" x 5 3/4" or 18cm x 15cm

Cut, Score at 3" or 7.5cm 

Outside -

Layer 1 - Pretty in Pink - 5 3/8" x 2 7/8" or 14.5cm x 7cm

Layer 2 - Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" or 14cm x 6.5cm

Using Chocolate Chip & Pretty in Pink inks, randomly stamp images onto Whisper White Cardstock

Adhere Whisper White to Pretty in Pink Cardstock & then to base card

Inside LHS -

Layer 1 - Pretty in Pink - 5/38" x 2 7/8" or 14.5cm x 7cm

Layer 2 - Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" or 14cm x 6.5cm

Using Chocolate Chip & Pretty in Pink inks, randomly stamp images onto Whisper White Cardstock

Adhere Whisper White to Pretty in Pink Cardstock & then to base card

For the inside, I stamped the images in opposite colours to the front of the card

Inside RHS -

Layer 1 - Pretty in Pink - 3 7/8" x 5 3/4" or 10cm x 14.5cm

Layer 2 - Whisper White - 3 3/4" x 5 5/8" or 9.5cm x 14.cm

Using Chocolate Chip ink, stamp images down the RHS of Whisper White Cardstock

Adhere Whisper White to Pretty in Pink Cardstock & then to base card

Band -
Layer 1 - Chocolate Chip - 8 1/4" x 1" or 21cm x 2.5cm
Layer 2 - Pretty in Pink - 8 1/4" x 7/8" or 21cm x 2cm
Layer 3 - Whisper White - 8 1/4" x 3/4" or 21cm x 1.5cm

Stamp random images onto Whisper White Cardstock using Chocolate Chip & Pretty in Pink Inks
Adhere to Pretty in Pink & then onto Chocolate Chip Cardstock
Place around middle of card & score where band will fold
Adhere ends together & place at front - this will be covered by the sentiment
Stamp sentiment onto Whisper White Cardstock using Chocoate Chip Ink
Punch sentiment using the Extra Large Oval Punch
Ink edges with Pretty in Pink Ink
Adhere to centre of band

Stamp Set - Bugs & Kisses, Well Scripted
Inks - Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink
Cardstock - Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip
Punches - Extra Large Oval
