G'Day Stampers,

This is the card we made yesterday at our Tech Class - Reflection Stamping or Mirror Image.

It is a very fun technique to do & even doing the most basic stamp can have your card looking stunning!

In fcat, we did a couple of different techniques to this card - Dazzling Diamonds, Aqua Painting, Sponging & for the inside - Pop-Up, but check them out for yourselves....

Best Wishes....

After checking out sketch from http://www.stamping411.blogspot.com and wanting to come up with a layout for a Technique Class this Wenesday - Faux Tiles, I thought that maybe I could combine the 2.....  This is the result!

Mind you, I wanted a male card, but looking at it, could be either male or female.

Shells.............

G'Day Stampers,

An early start this morning.....

After coming home from the beach yesterday arvo & finding this great, but oh so easy sketch  - http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com - decided to add the 2 together & here is my interpretation of the sketch.

The DSP I've used looks a little like starfish, so decided to go match it in with the stamp set.

Card -
Supplies -
Stamp Set - Seaside, Bitty Birthday
Ink - Chocolate Chip, Not Quite Navy
Cardstock - Very Vanilla, Not Quiet Navy,
Chocolate Chip
DSP - Bella Bleu
Accessories - Anywhere Glue Stick, Mini Glue Dots

I've stamped the greeting from "Bitty Birthday" straight along the strip of Very Vanilla.  It isn't a straight line, but I wanted it like that, as it sort of reminds me of the waves coming in.

Until next time, Enjoy!

# 2.....

G'day Stampers,
Well I have managed to return to post the card I finished to match the box posted earlier.
This time I tempeted a "Hinged Card".  I have never made one of these.  Seen heaps of them, so took it on board & did my version of it.  I do know there are instructions out there in Blog Land, but I wanted to show the edge around the top, so put my head down & went in blind.
Box & Card Set
Card - Closed
Card Open
Box Top
Side of Box - Close Up
Supplies -
Stamp Set - Wagon Full of Fun, Short & Sweet
Card Stock - Baja Breese, Very Vanilla, So Saffron, Ruby Red
DSP - Sweet Slumber Speciality
Ink - Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red
Punches - Small Oval, Large Oval, Scallop Oval
Accessories - Snail Glue Adhesive, 2-Way Glue Pen, Brads - Ruby Red,
Dazzling Diamonds, Sticky Tape, Watercolour Pencils

I've just realised that the lid in the close up of the box is not sitting straight, so please excuse that!
I've used the little cupcake from Short & Sweet & stamped along all sides of the box.
Until tmw when I will post another different card or project
Enjoy

Quick Card...

I've just made a very quick 5 minute card - this is for one of my brothers.  From now until April I have a heap of family birthdays and even when I have a heap of cards I always like to make a fresh one for them.

Supplies -
Stamp Set - Seeing Spots, Circle of Friendship - Retired
Ink - Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip
Cardstock - Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip
Punches - 1 3/4" Circle, 1 1/4" Circle
Buttons - Designer Series
Accessories - Mini Dots, Snail Glue

I have just realised that I've used a Retired Stamp Set, which means that I have forgotten to put my little sticky white circle on the box & marked it in big red letter "R".  It is my way of knowing at a glance that it is retired.
Until Tmw, have a great arvo

Buttons, Buttons & more Buttons...

Check the buttons!

As previously mentioned, I had a run of making make cards & thought I would continue while the ideas were popping into my head.  I couldn't get my hands to work fast enough to keep up with the ideas....

I've used 3 different size circle punches on this card - purposely to keep your eye away from the squares.  I carried it through to the greeting, but using the oval punches.

Supplies -
Stamp Set - Oval All
Cardstock - Ruby Red, Sahara Sand, Whisper White
DSP - Sweet Slumber Speciality
Ink - Basic Grey
Punches - 1 3/8" Circle, 1 1/4" Circle, 1" Circle, Scallop Oval, Oval
Accessories - Sanil Glue, White Gel Pen
NON- SU - Buttons

Until Next time.  have a great day!

Vicky
