Flowers & Butterflies...

New Stamp Set & Shimmer Paint arrives!

I've created this card using Shimmer Paint from Stampin' Up!®   This is so easy to use & gives such a lovely result.

I've rubbed a little of the Shimmer Paint over my cardstock, then stamped image over the top.  I've also rubbed it over the cardstock prior to the butterflies going through the Bigshot!  You could easily have rubbed a little of the paint on their wings after running it through the Bigshot.

For the flowers, I've used a Dauber & Blushing Bride ink & daubed directly onto the flowers.  As I only wanted a hint of colour, I didn't daub too much ink!  Using SU® Pastels would give you a softer look again.

Hopefully on the close-up photo you are able to see the Shimmer!

Using SU Pastels, I've created a very light background, including the sun, then embossed over.  I didn't want the pastels to be too vivid so to compete with the embossing folder.
