SC 064/12...

What a great challenge Kris has given us over at Sunny Challenges & Creations.  "Triple Layer Card".  I have never made one of these previously & of course, me being me, decided that I would not do your typical Triple Layer as I sort of off-centred it a little, including having my layers a little smaller too.

Measurements -
Base Card - Pool Party - 8 1/4" x 5 7/8" or 21cm x 15cm
Layer 1 - Crumb Cake - 4" x 5 3/4" or 14.5cm x 10cm
Layer 2 - Whisper White - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" or 14cm x 9.5cm
Layer 3 - Crumb Cake - 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" or 11.5cm x 8.5cm
Layer 4 - Whisper White - 3 1/8 x 4 3/8 or 11cm x 8cm
Layer 5 - Crumb Cake - 3 1/4" x 2 1/4" or 8.5cm x 6cm
Layer 6 - Whisper White - 3 1/8" x 2 1/8" or 8cm x 5.5cm

Supplies -
Ink Set - Rue Des Fleur, Established Elegance, En Francais
Ink - Crumb Cake, Pool Party
Cardstock - Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Pool Party
Ribbon - 1/2" Seam Binding - Pool Party
Accessories - Snail Adhesive

I run a small piece of Snail Adhesive on the backs of the small pieces of Whisper White Cardstock - this Snail should be so that it is temporary.  I placed the pieces on top of each other so that you think you are actually going to stamp one piece of Cardstock.  I inked my Background Stamp with Crumb Cake, stamped off once & then stamped over all 3 pieces of Whisper White.  I decided what I wanted for my main image & stamped it in Pool Party - Umbrella. The remainder of the images were randomly stamped over the pieces of Cardstock in Pool Party & Crumb Cake Inks.

Once my images had been stamped, my cards were carefully separated & the Crumb Cake Matts were adhered to the corresponding Whisper White pieces.  As I didn't want anything else on the card, I adhered all 3 pieces into place, ensuring that the stamped images matched prior to adhering.

To finish my card, I tied a small bow with Seam Binding & attached to the card.

We hope you will find the time to play along with us this week, as it is a great challenge & the perfect time to create one of these great cards.  Believe me, once you do one, you will be hooked.

Don't forget to pop over to check out what Kris & our Weekly Guest Designers have created for you.

Until next time, Happy Stampin'

Absolutely gorgeous Vicky. I love what you have done with this stampset and the colours are just gorgeous. Another one you are making me think more seriously about.
